The D1 Super Bowl delivered everything you’d expect from two powerhouse teams. The Newburgh Goldbacks, coming in undefeated, faced the 9–1 Minisink Valley Warriors in a highly anticipated rematch. These teams met once during the regular season, where the Goldbacks escaped with a thrilling goal-line stand to seal the win.
This time was no different—hard-hitting, fast-paced, and filled with heart from start to finish. The Warriors battled every snap, but the Goldbacks stayed composed and made the plays when it mattered most, earning another hard-fought victory to cap off a perfect season.
An incredible championship game showcasing the talent, effort, and sportsmanship of our 8–9 year old athletes. Congratulations to both teams on an outstanding season!
